and they are quite fine little things

and tongue wagging as it surely glimpses a predator on the horizon

with what appear to be the initials of his maker subtly carved into his belly

With its short handle I believe it is a butter paddle, but could be used for all sorts of things. A humble but to my sensibilities very beautiful thing. 7 1 8" l x 2 5 8" w x 5 8" thick and in excellent antique condition with a wonderful patina.
